R.I. P Shaggy

Shaggy has now gone to a better place--All dogs go to Heaven. It all started 10 years ago when I found Shaggy sipping out of the pond Danny and I put in the front yard of his mothers home. We thought it was a neighbors dog, but come to find out no one knew who's dog it was....he was extremly "shaggy" looking. He looked like he hadn't eaten in weeks, and seemed to be afraid of EVERYTHING. After posting up signs and waiting just about a month...I begged Danny if I could keep him. I already had a German Shepard at my parents house and dare I not take another dog over there therefore, I had to convice Danny's mom that he and I would take care of this dog. Finally after sitting down with her she let us keep him. We officially adopted him and have had him since then, April of 2009. Like any dog he's had his ups and downs. Shaggy really fell in love with Danny.......after a couple of years he seemed to really bond with him--he was Dannys dog. We love you buddy and we will miss you lots. You didn't really get to meet Baby Giovanni, but we will show him lots of pictures of you bud. Lola already misses you....she lays where we found you about 10 pounds lighter barley able to open your eyes. She sitts at the door ALL DAY crying....I know she'll miss you lots. No other brother would put up with her 'Prissy' attitutude--you rocked. It's amazing how you touched our hearts. R.I.P Shaggy ( April 5, 2009)

Corrupted Society

It's back to school for my little sister who attends UT and we decided to do a dinner at Pappasitos (Willowbrook) on Sunday night. We all had a great time and enjoyed eachothers company...it was actually Giovannis first trip to a resturant and he did great--sound asleep. When we leave the restaurant Danny puts Giovanni in the back seat and I come around to the passanger side to find my window had been busted. My brand new truck had been broken into and just about everything in it had been stolen!!!!! All I have to say is that, the punks that did it hit the jack pot....from a diamond ring, to a $500 radar, my handgun I've carried for years, DVD's, iPod and other things. But the best part of it all was that on Saturday we had Giovannis pictures taken and I had them in my truck.....apparently they didn't want those cause we found them on the floor board. I hope these thugs get caught!

I get a call from my brother who lives in Los Angeles Monday night and he tells me that his sports car got broken into that afternoon...what in the world is society coming to...not to meantion a month earlier my moms Tahoe was broken into at a 24hr fitness in broad daylight. Ya never know--we just all need to be careful and do not leave valuables in your vehicle. I made the mistake once and will never do it again.
